How will I know which class to join?
Your first visit to the dancing school is free of charge which allows your child to try out any of the styles before enrolling.
What will I wear?
To begin with new starters may wear anything comfortable to move freely in such at leggings and T,Shirt. (Please see 'Uniform' for more information) Long hair must be tied up.
Will I need to bring anything with me?
A drink of water/juice and a suitable warm top during colder weather.
What if my child is nervous?
Generally spectators are not allowed as it can cause a distraction for all pupils. However, it is understood that some children settle better in to the class if a parent is present, therefore at teacher and parent discretion, it is allowed for parents to sit in when necessary.
How do I pay?
Classes are paid for weekly on arrival in cash or weekly/monthly via bank transfer. (see Fees)
How am I informed of any notices?
When you join the dancing school you will be asked to complete an enrolment form giving your contact details. These details are kept confidential and are used only by the school Principal and assistant for the sole purpose of passing on relevant information direct to parents/guardians. Notices are given out in letter form by hand at class or by email. If a situation arises at very short notice then you will be telephoned or sent a text message/email and also via our group WhatsApp. We also have a Facebook and Instagram page that we post on regularly.
Can I Park at the venue?
There is a very limited amount of parking space on the property which can be used but this gets full during busy classes. Once your childs class is over you must vacate the parking spot you used to make way for the next class. There is plenty of public parking nearby. New Starters to the dance school are advised to use a public car park to begin with until familiar with other members of your childs group.
What about Mobile Phones and personal property?
Mobile phones are not allowed during lessons. Parents wishing to contact their children may do so by phoning/texting Christine or Hollies mobile and students who need to contact home at short notice are also allowed to use Christine or Hollies' phone. For security reasons,students who bring a mobile phone/purse or any other valuable property with them are advised to bring the items in to the dance hall with them so they are in sight during lessons. No responsibility can be taken for the loss of any property left unattended in the changing area.
